Easter break!

Yesh its the long weekends! Well not that long, tasmania has easter tuesday still! we only have till easter monday. HA!.. The weather turn very cool! low twenties and high 10s..perfect weathter..although for this week it will be raining. We just get extremes.. but i prefer this than hot!

And yesh over the break, i was having fun! Had a great time catching up my frens and of cos visiting my favourite winneries in the barossa! I just love the company of fun-loving and happy friends!

Over the weekend i had a couple of issues to faced too. I was very annoyed. Annoyed that my friends are hurt and offended by some1’s ignorance and insensitiveness. I am too tired of it! But fortuantetly my friends have been helping me and offering me advise. I think i was quite blown off by the matter cos i have been trying to help that person. But it seems my help all came down to nothing, if not things would be better right? But i am feeling better! Cos i know i cannot be responsible for the person’s action or carry the person’s burden. I just need to let go and not care so much.

last day of heatwave!

yesh we are still having the heatwave here but it will break tomorrow! it will go down to a bearable and cool 30 degreees! wait when is 30 degrees cool? well after suffer 2 weeks of high 30s and low 40s.. 30 is very cool!!!

but the hot weather didnt stop me from enjoying food and having fun here. although lots of water has to be taken.. So i have taken an effort to reszie the photos.. so hopefully it can be put up.

Anyway this sem i have alot of things to settle.. and i am settling it still..hopefully can tell u guys good news soon.. ahah

It’s 40 degrees outside..

But fortunately i have an air-conditioner in my living room. So all my studying has been shifted to there since it is on 24 hours a day cos of the crazy heat! And fortuantely my room is nearest to the living room so i can open my door and let the cool air seep into my room. Due to the crazy heatwave outside, i have tried and tested plenty of solutions/ways to keep the room cool and here are my takes on it

1) Do not on ur lights in your room! keep it dark. light bulbs create more heat!

2) Close ur blinds! keep ur window shut and only opening it in the evening!

3)hang wet cloths near the window! helps keep the air coming in cool

4) as the bed is crazily trapping all the heat, lay a damp towel on the bed for 30 mins b4 sleep. n viola! cool bed for u to sleep on when u remove it

5) Do not on the fan in the room during the day, only circulate hot air n make it feel hotter.

I have been drinking so much water, barely water, cooling pear drink but i think due to the heat i lost weight again..  this is bad cos if this continues i will disappear into thin air.. i am eating very well too.. well you all shall see in my next post the amount of food i am gourging myself with..

Anyway as i sat in the living room studying, looking out of the balcony , into the crazy heatwave..  i missed home even more! 2 weeks le.. yea i am ok.. but i feel that i am just displaced from home. I feel like my whole body was taken out of spore to here without its consent. And i have to adapt to it.. yesh i am adapting but still miss home.. everything is so familiar here.. i am still stayin in the same old room same old place.. ppl are still here.. but is so not like home..

i am a home girl eh..

heatwave still here n continuing till next week..come i will show you what the Bureau predicted.. yesh save me.. my room is an oven now. i have the urge to keep all my skin care products in the fridge.. they are now well hidden in the cupboard which is lots cooler

heatwave

ARGHHH it is going to hit 39 degrees this week end! It is an official heat wave here! rahh and last week the max was only 23!..yes that is adelaide for you. She doubles up her fiery temper whenever she wants leaving no mercy to us. Heading to the beach tomorrow and obviously not for a sun tan or what, i am sun block queen so i will avoid the sun at all cost..haa unless its with every1 ! for a chilling out session at a cafe.

yesh sch has started..lectures have started.. choosing my topic for honours now..man i really hope to do what i want cos if i dont get it i dont think i will be interested in doing it anymore!!

yes weiqin is feeling much better now, but she misses every1 back home!
